We are happy to announce that Jamzu 2.0 is now available for public testing on Apple TestFlight. Simply tap this link on your iPhone or iPad,
https://testflight.apple.com/join/GsnfBuK1
and follow the quick installation steps, and you will be up and playing Jamzu! This version is for iPhone and iPad. The Mac version is finished, and will follow shortly for TestFlight.
From the app description:
Jamzu is a strategic two-player board game. Race your runners across the board and block your opponent with the jammers. The jammers are both your allies and your enemies. Your advantage may turn against you at any time, but then you can counterattack right back!
Three variants share the same board and pieces. What changes is how you get your number each turn:
• Classic. Roll the die and make your move.
• DieDeck. A random deal of numbers 1 - 6 you can see fully, partly, or not at all.
• Choose. You pick your number every turn. Pure strategy, no luck.
Play neural-net AIs trained through millions of games, across a difficulty ladder and several opponent personalities. Or play a friend, on one device or online through Game Center.
Things to try in this beta:
• Play games in each of the variants.
• Different difficulty settings.
• Online matches through Game Center and local two-player games on one device.
• The Settings page: themes, styles, trails, and the Help pages.
• Game page settings: Training mode ON/OFF, AI think time (in Choose, on higher difficulty levels), and other features.
• Resume saved games, check stats on finished games.
No account or sign-up needed. Use the feedback option in TestFlight or email doug@realfunart.com.
One board. One game. Three completely different ways to play. Thanks for playing Jamzu!
